Skype Adds New Bots to His Collection

After launching in April 2016 its first chatbot, Skype now reveals the programs developed with partners.

These new messaging robots, users can turn to Skyscanner, StubHub, IFTTT, Hipmunk, or Spock.

These new chatbots follow a major update of Skype Bot Platform deployed earlier at the beginning of July. It enables robots to be integrated into conversation groups, add cards with action buttons, or allow an identification process to a third party service.

Robots added are already available in the Skype bots library on android, iOS, Mac, Windows and the Web. These new chatbot, the applications include:

Skyscanner allows to monitor live changes in airline ticket prices based on simple keywords like "Paris in July" or "Spain."

StubHub also has its Skype Bot. It is a marketplace to buy and sell tickets to shows and events.
IFTTT Bot uses the same operation as the application of the same name (If This Then That) to keep you informed in the mail parameterized monitoring elements.

Hipmunk, is a specialized bot on the trip. It will allow you to access much information about flights, hotels. It is also able to give you advice according to the required place.

These new robots complete the small repertoire that already owned the mail application, but this is the first time that we see companies that are not owned by Microsoft. If Skype is still relatively little used, conversational commerce as a whole continues its merry way with strong growth.
